AXENSTAR: New Song Posted Online

Swedish power metallers AXENSTAR have uploaded their song "Edge of the World" on their MySpace page. The track comes off the group's fourth album, "The Final Requiem", which was relesed in Europe on September 8 via Germany's Massacre Records (the rest of the world will receive the CD in October). According to the band, "it is by far the heaviest release in the history of AXENSTAR. We are all extremely happy with the result."

AXENSTAR recently parted ways with guitarists Peter Johansson and Thomas Eriksson due to "personal reasons." The three remaining members will continue with the help of new lead guitarist Joakim Jonsson (SKYFIRE, THE MIST OF AVALON).

AXENSTAR was previously signed to the Arise label.
